Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) is a kind of air transport fuel designed for use in aircraft powered by gas-turbine engines. In the recent milestone, researchers from Dehradun based Indian Institute of Petroleum successfully convert cooking oil (after use) into bio-ATF. Once it comes to real life usage, the expense for the aircraft fuel will be drastically reduced and helpful for economic conditions in India as well as other countries too.
