Who is Tony Fadell?
Never hear about him. Ok, did you used iPod ever, maybe yes or no? He is the former Vice President of the iPod Division at Apple Inc. Tony Fadell is an American entrepreneur and inventor, who is the co-founder for Nest Labs and he is holding 300 patents in his name.
Google announced that it acquired Nest labs for 3.2 billion USD in cash. i.e. no diluting its share instead of giving the cash. Tony Fadell has a bright history in the field of electronics and embedded kinds of stuff. He previously worked for Philips and Apple. Even he reached the good heights in those terms.
